Put two square brackets around a name and you connect two notes. Backlinks and the graph grow out of these links.
Connecting one note to another
Write the name of the note, without .md, between double square brackets.
The starter comes from [[Caring for sourdough]]. It turns into [[Bread for Saturday]].
The starter comes from Caring for sourdough. It turns into Bread for Saturday.
The second link is paler because that note doesn't exist yet. When you click it, nexlore creates it. That's how many vaults grow almost by themselves, since you link first to what you want to write down later.
Lore saysJust type [[ and a few letters, and nexlore suggests matching notes, also through their aliases from the properties. Press Enter to set the link.

You give a paragraph an id by writing ^ and a word at its end, like Always one to one to one. ^ratio. In the reading view the id is invisible.
Which note nexlore picks when a name exists twice
If two notes share a name, nexlore takes the one in the same folder first and otherwise the one with the shortest path. Upper and lower case don't matter here. If you mean one particular note, put the folder in front.
A link into another space starts with that space's name, such as [[Workshop/Workbench]]. Your own space is always asked first. Anyone who may not read the other space sees the link as missing and doesn't even find out that the space exists.
Links stay intact when you rename
When you rename or move a note, nexlore rewrites every link to it, in all notes and all spaces, and keeps the style each link was written in. So [[Bread]] becomes [[White bread]] and not suddenly a path.
Lore saysWhen you rest the mouse on a link, nexlore shows you a preview of the note after a moment. In the editor you hold Ctrl for that, and Ctrl + click opens the note in a new tab.
